Happy Chinese New Year!

This Saturday, the 28th, sees the start of Chinese New Year and 2017 is the year of the Rooster.

London is holding the largest celebrations of any city outside of Asia, so there is lots to keep yourself busy with over the weekend. If you fancy keeping it local, there’s lots going on in East London. One of our collection points, Stepney City Farm are holding a pop-up dinner. Or if you have younger ones to entertain then the V&A Museum of Childhood might suit you better. On February 11th the V&A are hosting a day of mask making, costumes and calligraphy workshops for all to get involved in. There will be Chinese traditions such as dancing and singing to all get involved with, click here for more information.

In honour of the Chinese New Year we wanted to share with you the Telegraph’s favourite Chinese recipes. We highly recommend trying the blanched Choy Sum, or the Crispy Chicken.
